There are a number of truly remote, yet incredibly beautiful areas around the world that are worth seeing. One area is the Fjordland around Cape Horn in South America. Recently we have had a few specials come in from Nomads Of The Seas, a small cruise vessel, that specialises in reaching these out of the way areas and allowing you to experience the best of the scenery, wildlife and experiences of the area.
We have special discounted rates for Cruises departing February 7th, 13th and 20th and March 19th in 2016 in Deluxe and Premium Cabins. This seven day cruise is a fantastic journey (for Itinerary read on), and should you be interested in joining one of the departures please do not hesitate to contact us for costs.
We have a fantastic tour on offer departing from Kolkata (Calcutta) on the 9th April 2016, in fact its close to unique. We have chartered one of the vessels that have started to appear on the Indian waterways and with is we are going to combine two of the most incredible travel experiences that one can encounter – cruising and safaris.
Starting in Kolkata our Cruise-Safari takes in some time in Kolkata before flying up to Jorhat in Assam where we start our cruise which carries us down the mighty Brahmaputra to Guwahati, enroute visiting some of the most incredible parks in India including Kaziranga National Park and the Gibbon Wildlife Sanctuary, before we return to Kolkata where the tour ends, or you can elect to fly on down to Delhi and participate in our classic “Golden Triangle” Tour as an extension.
The National Parks we will visit give us the opportunity to encounter over a hundred forms of mammal, reptile and bird life, from Rhinos, Tigers, Leopard, Elephant, Dhole, Gaur to smaller mammals and birds like Eagles, Pangolin, Civets, Fishing Cats, and Hornbills .. not to mention the only ape found in india the Hoolock Gibbon. An incredible array of wildlife matched only by the savannahs and jungles of Africa, but with the positive note that we won’tbe travelling between hotels as we journey from park to park, our accommodation itself will take us between parks, accommodation which in itself is a wildlife viewing haven allowing us to witness the rivers bird life, historical sights and even possibly the rare Ganges River Dolphin.
So if combining some of the worlds best wildlife with a rustic river cruise sounds like the perfect escape for you read on, and if you want, contact us for more information or to book your place aboard!
