Manas National Park is home to over 380 Bird Species

Day 01 – Arrive Kolkata
Upon arrival in Delhi our office staff will meet you at the airport and take you to your pre-booked hotel in Kolkata . Check in and overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 02: Delhi to Guwahati flight and drive to Kaziranga (UNESCO World Heritage Site)
Departure transfer to the airport for flight to Guwahati. Meet & greet on arrival at Guwahati airport & proceed for Kaziranga National Park (250 Kms / 5 hrs drive). Check in hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight in Kaziranga. 478 species of birds resident and migratory. This is an important bird area by birdlife International.  World’s largest population of single horned rhino and a significant tiger population along with other 36 important mammal species.

DAY 03: KAZIRANGA
Early morning elephant ride (Starts from 5 A.M.). You may spot Bengal Florican at the time of Elephant ride. Return for breakfast. After breakfast Jeep safari to central range of the park. Return for Lunch. After lunch Jeep safari to Western range. Overnight in Kaziranga.

DAY 04: KAZIRANGA – NAMERI
After breakfast jeep safari to eastern range. After lunch drive to Nameri (130 Kms / 2 ½ hrs drive).  Check in Eco Camp. Overnight in Nameri. Over 300 species of bird here.

DAY 05: NAMERI
Early morning nature trail with forest guard. Return for breakfast. After breakfast rafting over the river Jia Bhorolee. Picnic lunch at riverside. Overnight at Eco Camp.

DAY 06: NAMERI – MANAS
After breakfast drive to Manas (330 Kms / 7 hrs drive). Check in Bansbari Lodge. Overnight at Manas. 380 species of bird at manas national park.

DAY 07: MANAS
Early morning elephant ride. Return for breakfast. After breakfast Jeep safari & After lunch Jeep safari to Mathanguri. Overnight at Manas.

DAY 08: MANAS – SAMDRUP JONGKHAR (BHUTAN BORDER) DEPARTURE
Early morning Elephant ride. Return for breakfast. After breakfast drive to Samdrup Jongkhar – Indo Bhutan Border (180 Kms / 5 ½ hrs drive + 30 mins immigration time).

DAY 09 SAMDRUP JONGKHAR TO NARPHUNG LA CAMP
After breakfast do birding between S/jongkhar – Deowthang- Narphung Campsite. The birds we hope to find are Brownish-flanked Bush-warbler, Rufous-bellied Eagle, Little Bunting, Black Eagle, Emerald Dove, Bronze Drongo, Beautiful Nuthatch, Red-billed Leiothrix, Red-faced Liocichla, Orange-bellied Leafbird, Blue-winged Laughingthrush, Black-nape Monarch, Grey-throated Babbler, Black-crested Bulbul, Oriential Pied Hornbill, Great Hornbill, Green-billed Malkoha. Camp at Narphung.

DAY 10 Narphung La to Sengor
Early morning start towards Sengor with birding stops at Yongkola, Limithang and Namling campsite. Today you can spot Brown Bullfinch, Scarlet Finch, Grey-winged Blackbird, Brown-throated Treecreeper, Grey-sided Laughingthrush, Ward’s Trogon, Rufous-necked Hornbill, Greater Rufous-headed Parrotbill, Black-throated Parrotbill, Slender-billed Scimitar-babbler, Broad-billed Warbler, Black-throated Parrotbill, Asian Emerald Cuckoo, Blue-bearded Bee-eater, Crimson-breasted Woodpecker, long-billed or Bar-winged Wren Babbler, Streaked-breasted and Rusty-cheaked Scimitar-babbler, Bhutan Laughingthrush, Golden-breasted Fulvetta, Flycatchers, Shortwings and much more. Camp at Sengor.

DAY 11 Sengor to Bumthang
Early in the morning with breakfast and lunch packed proceed to Bumthang. On the way stop for birding in which you may come across with Blood Pheasant, Satyr Tragopan, Fire-tailed Myzornis, Fire-tailed sunbird and Great Parrotbill. In hotel.

DAY 12 Bumthang to Gangtey
Early morning drive to Yotongla Pass and bird on the both side of the pass. Birds you may encounter in this place are Slender-billed Scimiter-babbler, Great and brown Parrotbill, Fulvous Parrotbill, Red-headed Bullfinch, White-winged Grossbeak, Gold-nape Finch. Further drive to Gangtey valley.  Stay the night at the hotel in Gangtey.

Day 13 At Gangtey
At Gangety – Explore the valley and the village. A beautiful and inviting landscape…..half day walk and return back to the hotel. Overnight stay at Gangtey.

Day 14 Gangtey to Dochula
In the morning depart for Jigme Dorji Wangchuk National Park having a stop at Pelela pass and do birding down the hill of old highway road. , in which you may come across with Himalayan Griffon, Chestnut-bellied Rock Thrush, Grey-sided Bush Warbler, Fire-tailed Sunbird, Great and Brown Parrot bill, etc.. Jigme Dorji National Park in which you may encounter with different species of birds like Palla’s Fish-eagle, Slaty-backed Forktail, Crested kingfisher, Great and Golden throated Barbet, Yellow-vented Warbler, Grey-hooded Warbler, Slaty-backed Tesia, Maroon Oriel, Fire-breasted Flowerpecker, Black-throated Sunbird, etc… Later drive to Dochula pass and check in to the hotel at Dochula Resort. Breathtaking views of the Himalayas from this resort.

DAY 15. Dochula to Thimpu
In the morning birding at Dochhula Pass. You have a good chance of finding Satyr Tragopan, White-throated, Straited, Chesnut-crowned Laughingthrushes, Darjeeling Woodpecker, Fire-tailed Myzornis, Rufous winged Fulvetta, Hoary-throated Barwing,etc…. . Afternoon if time permits drive northern valley of Thimphu (Begana area) and do birding. On Hotel in Thimpu

DAY 16 Thimpu to Paro
Spend the morning birding at Chelela Pass. Birds you may encounter include Himalayan Monal, Blood and Kalij Pheasant, Yellow-billed Blue Magpie, Grey-crested &Rufous-fronted Tits, Black-faced Laughing Thrush, Collard Grosbeak, White-browed & Dark-rumped Rosefinch, Long-tailed Thrush. Later we drive to Paro with birding stops along the way. Check in to the hotel.

Day 17 Lv.Paro
Departure transfer to the airport for flight to Delhi or Kolkata. Upon arrival connect with the international flight back home
