All World Journeys

Day 1 – Cairo
Upon arrival to Cairo, you will be met by local representative and transferred to your hotel for overnight.

Day 2 – Cairo / Aswan
After breakfast, your private Egyptologist tour guide and driver will pick you up and start your tour. Drive to Giza and visit the Pyramids. See the Sphinx and the Valley Temple. Continue to Memphis. Lunch en route. Continue to Sakkara. Return to Cairo and visit a Papyrus Institute. Transfer to the train station to take the sleeping train to Aswan.

Day 3 – Aswan (1st day of cruise)
Upon Arrival, visit the Aswan High Dam. Proceed to the Granite Quarries and the huge Unfinished Obelisk. Then take a short motorboat ride to visit the romantic and majestic Philae Temple. Embarkation on board of the Nile cruise before lunch. After lunch, take a ride on a Felucca around Elephantine Island. Continue sailing around Kitchener’s Island and the Mausoleum of the Agha Khan. Return to your cruise for dinner and overnight.

Day 4 –Kom Ombo/Edfu (2nd day of the cruise)
Early morning sailing to Kom Ombo and visit the Temple of Kom Ombo After breakfast. Continue to Edfu. Explore the largest and most completely preserved temple in Egypt, the extraordinary Temple of Horusat Edfu. Sail to Esna, cross the lock and continue to Luxor. Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 5 – Edfu / Luxor (3rd day of the cruise)
Visit the East Bank of the Nile starting with the especially graceful Temple of Luxor. Proceed to the North of Luxor to the Karnak Temple. Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 6 – Luxor / Cairo (end of the cruise)
Disembark after breakfast. Cross to the West Bank of the Nile and visit the Valley of the Kings. Rising out of the desert plain in a series of terraces, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut.On the way back to the river Nile, your road passes by the famed Colossi of Memnon. Transfer to the train station to take the sleeping train to Cairo.

Day 7 – Cairo
Upon arrival, full day Visit the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities for a detailed, guided tour. Lunch en route. Continue to the Mohamed Ali Mosque and the streets of Khan el Khalili Bazaar. Return to your hotel for overnight.

Day 8 – Cairo
After Breakfast, transfer to Cairo airport for your departure flight.
