Trek The Grass Plains (4n/5d)

Terelj Natoinal Park

Day 1: Ulaanbaatar City
Meet at the airport and transfer to the Palace Hotel. Optional city tour including Zaisan Hill War Memorial, Gandan Monastery and the Natural History Museum. Overnight in the Palace Hotel.

Day 2: Ulaanbaatar / Terelj
Drive to Terelj (70 km). Visit the amazing Turtle Rock on the way. Lunch in our camp. In the afternoon leisure time for exploring and searching for flowers and butterflies. In the evening visit a local family to experience the nomad lifestyle. Dinner and overnight in camp.

Day 3: Terelj/Gachuurt
Transfer to the walking point (7-8km) by jeep. Spend the day walking and exploring the beautiful alpine landscape. Overnight in our Gachuurt camp.

Day 4: Terelj/Ulaanbaatar
After breakfast drive back to the city. Lunch in the hotel. In the afternoon visit to the Gobi cashmere factory for shopping. In the evening a folk dance and music performance.

Day 5: Departure
Transfer to the airport or railway station for departure.
