Day 1, Arrival & Transfer to Antigua
Arrival and meet and greet.  Transfer to Antigua, renowned for its colonial charm impressive ruins and surrounding volcanoes.  Overnight Antigua 1N.

Day 2, Pine Forest Birding (BL)   
Early morning transfer to the highlands Pine Forest area. There’s a good chance of spotting the endemic Rufous-collared Thrush, Bushy-crested Jay, Black-headed Siskin,   Painted Redstart, Greater Pewee, Eastern Bluebird, and White-eared Hummingbird.  Transfer on to Lake Atitlan and overnight at the Lake. Overnight Lake Atitlan, 2N

Day 3, Cloud Forest – San Pedro Volcano (BL)
Today we transfer across the lake to the San Pedro Volcano to go in search of the Horned Guan and other species of the area such as the pink headed warbler, belted flycatcher, blue throated motmot etc. We will have picnic lunch today giving us plenty of opportunity for bird watching.

Day 4, Coffee Farm & Cloud Forest (BLD)
After early morning bird watching at the lakeshore we transfer to a beautiful reserve with both coffee plantation and cloud forest scenery for a varierty of bird watching opportunities. Overnight Los Tarrales, 1N

Day 5, Cloud Forest – In search of the Quetzal (BLD)
After early morning birdwatching at Los Tarrales we transfer to a private reserve in the cloud forest. Here we can hope to see the elusive Resplendent Quetzal, cabanis tanager (Tangara cabanisi) and a host of other birds including hummingbirds, orioles, flycatchers, trogons and motmots.. Overnight Los Andes, 1N

Day 6, Into the Rainforest (B)
After an early morning bird watching session we transfer to Guatemala City where we can enjoy a visit to some of the museums and have lunch before boarding our flight to Flores in the northern rainforest. Here we transfer to our hotel in the rainforest near Flores for overnight. Opportunities for night hikes / wildlife spotting. Overnight Ixpanpajul, 1N.

Day 7, Chiminos Penninsular (BLD)
After an early morning birdwatching session we transfer to the town of Sayaxche and board a boat for the transfer to Chiminos Island Lodge. Along the way we will have the chance to spot a variety of wildlife and aquatic birds. In the late afternoon there will be another chance to sport birds on the Petexbatun Lake. Overnight Chiminos Island Lodge, 1N

Day 8, Aguateca (BLD)
Early morning bird watching in the Chiminos Lodge area. Then we transfer to the archeology site at Aguateca to explore the site and look for a variety of birds in the area. As the day draws to a close we will take the boat back to Sayaxche and transfer back to Tikal National Park. Overnight Tikal, 2N

Day 9, Tikal Birdwatching (BL)
Today we enjoy a full day of birdwatching in the Tikal National Park. As well as enjoying the site itself we will hope to see such species as the oscillated Turkey, Yucatan Jay, Black Catbird, Rose Throated Tanager, Orange breasted Falcon etc.

Day 10, Transfer Out (B)
Guests will transfer to Flores airport for the short flight to Guatemala City in time to connect with international flights.
